By car – a quick way to find peace and quiet

Road signs and navigation

Rigeleje is located east of the A19, between Kivik and Åhus. Here’s how to get there:

Directions from the north (Kristianstad, Åhus, Degeberga):

From Route 19 coming from the north – After Degeberga, pass the turn-off for Åhus after approx. 5 km. Immediately afterwards, turn left towards Olseröd and, once in Olseröd, turn left and continue following the signs with the camping symbol.

Directions from the south (Ystad, Simrishamn, Kivik, Brösarp):

From Route 19 from the south – Turn right towards Rigeleje at the sign with the camping symbol 3–4 km after Brösarp. Continue to follow the signs with the camping symbol.

Free parking is available at reception.

PLEASE NOTE! There are no charging facilities for electric cars.

When you turn off Route 19 towards Rigeleje, the signs can sometimes be hard to spot – especially amidst the lush greenery during the summer months. Drive carefully and keep an eye out – the road will take you all the way to the coast. You’ll pass open fields, small farms and copses before you reach the campsite.

Bear in mind that Rigelejevägen is a dead end – when you see the sea, you’ve arrived!

By public transport – for those travelling without a car

The nearest train station is Kristianstad Central. From there, buses run to Degeberga. From Degeberga, there are sometimes connecting rural bus services, or you can take a taxi or cycle the final stretch.

Tip: Check timetables at www.skanetrafiken.se or use their app for easy planning.

By bike – beautiful routes to the sea

Are you cycling along the Sydostleden cycle route or planning a trip through Skåne’s coastal countryside? Then Rigeleje is the perfect stop. The cycle route from Brösarp or Degeberga is peaceful, close to nature and gently undulating. There is plenty of space to park your bike within the site. The Sydostleden cycle route passes the campsite on its way. Rigeleje is therefore a suitable place to stop for a break or stay overnight.

A destination well worth the journey

The journey to Rigeleje is part of the experience. This is where the tarmac ends – and tranquillity begins. As you turn into the campsite, you’re greeted by the sea breeze, birdsong and the feeling of being far away, yet close by.

We look forward to welcoming you to Rigeleje Strand Camping – where the journey is just as beautiful as the destination.
